There are several ways to support Artreach. Listed below are just a few ways you can help!

Wish List

The Second Step Players would like to have a little black box theater. This theater would be shared with other community theaters and musicians for open mic nights and concerts. Along with sharing the theater, Artreach members would also provide tech and house crew support.

In the same building, we'd like to create an Arts and Wellness Center with a meditation room/dance studio. Creative arts classes would be open for the community to attend. Other programs that would be hosted are, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction classes, yoga, tai chi, and even Zumba.

There's so much we could do in this new home that would benefit the entire community. We welcome anyone who loves innovative mental health programs AND the arts and who would like a theater named after him/her. Please call Becca Atkins at 860-887-0014 for addtional details.

Razoo

This is so cool. With Razoo, you can make a very simple online donation to Artreach, or you can create an e-mail fundraiser on our behalf!  The Artreach Razoo main page is located at http://www.razoo.com/story/Artreach-8.  Once there, it is easy to make a donation, OR if you're really inspired, run a fundraiser of your own!  Click on the "Fundraise" button and make sure you've chosen the Artreach that you know and love as your charity of choice (you'll know you're at the right "Artreach" if you see Second Step Players mentioned on the main charity page).  You'll have an opportunity to tell the story of why you want to help us, then create and share your very own fundraising page.  Donations will come straight to Artreach.  Isn't that COOL?  Don't you want to try it out right now?

Special Occasion Contributions

People are so generous.  We have received some contributions associated with significant events in people's lives. One young man asked that all of his Bar Mitzvah gifts be contributions to Artreach. Another couple decided to donate money they would have spent on wedding favors to Artreach instead. Yet another person saw that we needed a piece of equipment and donated the money for us to buy it. We thank those people and ask that you consider helping us out when you have an important date in your life. Call Becca at 860-887-0014 for more information.

Volunteer

Here are some ways you can volunteer:

• Providing house crew at Second Step Players shows
• Selling tickets at Second Step Players shows
• Baking cookies and brownies for events
• Working on technical crew for productions
• Holding a fundraiser in support of Artreach (see Razoo link on this site)
• Other areas - you tell me, how would you like to participate?
