Q: Who is eligible to participate?

• Adults 18 and over who receive services from the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services
  *(download Criteria for Membership for additional details)
• Adults 18 and over who are in recovery programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous
• Adults 18 and over who have experienced psychiatric issues and are actively working toward recovery
• Family members of individuals who have experienced psychiatric issues
• Community members who love the idea of this co-creative community. 

If you are willing to participate in the creation of Artreach’s resonant field of compassion and positive potential by recognizing multiple intelligences and strengths, this is the place for you.

Q: How do I join Artreach and/or participate in your programs?

It starts with a phone call and a meeting.  Call 860-887-0014 and schedule a meeting to talk about your interests.  Together, we will decide if Artreach’s programs are a good fit for you, and make a game plan for your participation.  If you are a DMHAS client, we will collect information from you which will allow us to communicate with your other service providers in order to create the best experience for you during your time with us.

Q: What is the fee for participation?

There is no fee for participation for DMHAS clients and other individuals who are working on their recovery through participation in Artreach programs.

While Community members participate in most activities free of charge, there are select activities which request a donation or which carry a specific fee (such as the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction weekend trainings and artistic development classes).  ALL fees collected are used to support the programming here at Artreach.
